The demand for baseball games is always very high so naturally people would buy in bulk and sell the tickets on the day itself outside the stadium. To the Caucasians, as long as you are not blonde or brunette, you are Koreans or Japanese. Sure enough, we walked past one guy and he greeted, "Konichiwah!" We smiled politely and walked off. We had that when we were in Switzerland for our honeymoon during the World Cup season. People saw and went, "Go Japan! Go!" Hmm, I wonder when will they say, "Go, Singapore!" ?
Eventually we managed to squeeze out of the crowd and got to Chinatown to meet Lionel and Rachel. They are a really friendly couple. We chat and makan like we have known one another for a long time! And instead of us recommending, they as tourists, recommended a Chinese eatery and true enough, the food was really not bad. Yummy....
This may seem nothing to u, but it was absolutely wonderful for us!
Gui Fei Chicken... tender but a little too salty for me
We are so touched by their gestures. I mean, they actually bought these before they fly over. Oh... so sweet of them. Our only problem is, where to find the kway teow? But I guess it is a good problem! =)
