Thanksgiving

The international students met up again at Dana's house for Thanksgiving. It is the last Thanksgiving for Sunny and the two of us. Sunny is returning to Bulgaria for good and we are bound for Singapore next May.  

Turkey is a must for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

As usual, Gideon was our chef.

It was really quiet on Thanksgiving night. It is like Chinese New Year's eve, I suppose. 

Gundam II

Daniel's Gundam has been ready for quite some time. I finally took some photos of it, after much nagging from him. Ya, how can I not do so with his precious Gundam? Daniel loves his Gundam. He plays with it every night before he sleeps. Gundam is his comfort toy now.

My Sassy Husband

When the weather turns chilly, people grab whatever that are near, bundle up and keep warm.

Well, at least this holds true for Daniel. 

As long as he is warm and comfortable, image does not matter anymore.

Amanda's birthday

Amanda is my small group leader in Boston. Her birthday is just one day before mine. 

Daniel and I made this for her. 

It isn't costly but it sure took us a couple of hours to do it. 

We followed the instructions; pretty easy but tedious because it is so tiny.

Though it wasn't his birthday, Daniel was in a contemplative mood. 

Age has caught up on him. 

Yum yum dim sum for breakfast and pizzas for lunch. 

Spent some time blessing a good friend for her ROM. 

And finally, an eclectic dinner with the company of live jazz music and white wine.

我曾听说有一个人，他喜欢写日记。在他的日记里， 他会为未来的自己设定几道问题。日后，当他到了那个年龄时，他就会回答那些问题。比如说：

1)   二十岁的我，你好吗？上了大学了吗？成绩还不错吧？
2）三十岁的我，你过得好吗？结婚了吗？
3）五十岁的我，最近身体还常出毛病吗？

我觉得这做法很有意思。我在想，若是我， 我会问自己什么问题呢？今天某些事非常重要，必须在某个年龄达成。可是，当我们真正到达那个阶段时，我们的想法是不是有了改变？我们在思想上有成熟吗？观念有不一样吗？如果换你来问未来的自己一些问题，你会看重什么呢？

Gundam

Someone is reliving his childhood - Gundum - something he had no financial ability to play when he was younger and no luxury of time when he was working.

He said he wants to pass it to his son, who will later pass it on to his own son. =)
