Rock and Roll at Rockport

Springtime in Boston and the flowers are in full bloom!

Yellow tulips too!

Today we headed to Rockport with Ming and adorable Weston. There's Doris playing with Weston in the backseat.

The Halibut Point State Park - the centerpiece is this magnificent reservoir created out of an old granite quarry.

Weston, Ming and Doris.

Wondering what I'm looking at? Appears to be a family of sea hawks circling above the park.

A nice hike in the warm sunshine.

A magnificent view of the Atlantic ocean.

Shortly after lunch, Weston decided to call it a day and promptly dozed off...

... in the baby carrier!

Me trying to be helpful by providing some shade.

Heading down to Rockport!

Looking out towards the sea from the Old Stone Fort, which used to be a lookout point for invading British warships.

Ahoy there! But the wheel cannot be turned, alas.

Red Sox Nation

I never realized baseball could be so addictive. Jeffrey says it's like fungus that grows on you, whether you like it or not.

I thought they only applied to soccer and (my wife says) mahjong, which are like psychological opium back in Singapore.

Anyway, my first game last night at Fenway Park watching the Sox take on the Yankees was my baptism so to speak, and I think I'm hooked.

Though I'm gonna leave for Singapore soon, these are my memories...

My first Sox cap, thanks to Jeffrey.

And of course, a copy of the Boston Globe the day after to capture the details of the previous night's nail biter of a 5-4 victory... thanks to Jeff once again.

My salute to the team and all the crazy fans of Red Sox Nation!
