Flower Power

Winter is finally is over and the weather has been pretty nice for the past few weeks. We can finally take off one or two layers when we go out and I don't look like a ba(4) zhang(3) anymore.  Flowers are starting to bloom and the gardens and streets look real pretty.  It is a nice climate for flowers like tulips and hydrangeas.  So last Friday after tuition, I bought a pot of deep pink hydrangeas. So pretty!!! Although I ended developing rashes on my palms, it didn't stop me from watering my hydrangea everyday. =) My next few pots should be purple tulips and maybe daisies.

The keyboard I bought so that I can practise daily

Heard of Autumn Leaves?
I like late Eva Cassidy's non-jazz cover version

and Keith Jarrett for his jazz instrumental version

Autumn Leaves
The falling leaves drift by my window
The falling leaves of red and gold....
I see your lips, the summer kisses
The sunburned hands, I used to hold
Since you went away, the days grow long
And soon I'll hear ol' winter's song.
But I miss you most of all my darling,
When autumn leaves start to fall.

Since you went away, the days grow long
And soon I'll hear ol' winter's song.
But I miss you most of all my darling,
When autumn leaves start to fall.
