Fatal T Crash

I received news yesterday evening that two Green D Line trolley - also known fondly as the "T" - collided. Initially I was worried because Daniel always take this line to his college and that was around the time when he usually goes to campus. I checked the internet without hesitation and for a while I was relieved to know that Dan's class had started when the accident took place.

Nevertheless, I read more about the crash. It was unfortunate that the lady conductor, aged 24, died in the crash after being trapped in the trolley for about 3 hours.

It was an unfortunate event but seriously, we were relieved that the accident took place near Woodland Station and not in Boston city itself. As you can see, the area is more accessible to the emergency responders. Had it occurred in the underground portions of the line, the rescue would have been more complicated.

There have been a series of unfortunate events - earthquake in China,  cyclone in Myanmar and tornadoes in Kansas, Colorado, Oklahoma and Iowa in United States. Let us pray for peace and hope for the victims and the survivors. For the rest us, cherish what you have and who you have. Live life to the fullest!
